Ruling on performing taraweeh out of masjid and at home | مسجد سے باہر تراویح کی جماعت

مسجد چھوڑ کر، کسی اور جگہ تراویح کی جماعت کرانا کیسا ہے۔ مثلا کسی حافظ کو مقرر کرکے فیکٹری یا گھر میں تراویح کی جماعت کرانا وغیرہ۔ جواب یہ ہے کہ اگر فرض مسجد میں جماعت کے ساتھ ادا کرلیں تو صرف تراویح کی جماعت دوسری جگہ کرسکتے ہیں بشرطیکہ مسجد میں تراویح کی جماعت ہوتی ہو۔ اگر مسجد خالی ہے اور وہاں تراویح کی جماعت نہیں ہورہی تو سارے محلے والے گنہ گار ہونگے۔ 

What does Islam say about performing taraweeh prayer out of mosque? For example, if some people hire a Hafiz to make them traweeh with jamat at home or office, or factory etc.

The answer: If they perform Farz in the mosque and just do the Jamat of Taraweeh at home it's permittable. However, if the mosque is empty and there is no Taraweeh jamaat in the mosque, all the residents of that area would become sinful.
